Pyes Pā Art Lovers Exhibition 20 and 21 June 2026 - see you there!
I am a Bay of Plenty-based artist working in abstract realism, creating pieces that sit at the intersection of emotion, memory, and movement. My work is deeply intuitive—each painting emerging not from a fixed plan, but from a felt experience that unfolds layer by layer.
Drawing on my personal transformation, resilience, and moments of stillness, my paintings often explore contrast: strength and softness, chaos and calm, fire and silence. I use warm neutrals and expressive forms to invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and find their own meaning within the work.
As a self-driven artist and solo mum of two beautiful inspirations, I turn to painting not only as a creative outlet, but as a form of grounding and healing. Working across multiple pieces at once, I embrace a fluid, immersive process that mirrors the complexity of life itself.
My work resonates with collectors who feel a connection beyond the visual—those who recognise something of their own story within the canvas. For me, it is both a privilege and a quiet honour to have my pieces welcomed into people’s homes, where they continue to live, breathe, evolve and be a part of someone else's story.
