Bio

I create sculptural felted pieces. 

The tactile and organic nature of wool suits the way I like to work. It is a renewable and sustainable resource that fits well with my desire to be environmentally conscious in my art practice. 

I predominantly use the natural colours of  New Zealand grown merino wool. Plant dyed wool  gives my work colour with other natural fibers providing  accent.

The process of delicate fibers being transformed to form solid 3D objects continues to inspire me.
