Hi I'm Louise Fraider and have lived in Pyes Pā with my family for around 30 years.

I love painting our native birds in water colour but recently have extended my perspective to include New Zealand flora as well as the occasional pet .

I started painting again approximately 3 years ago when I retired, as a way of relaxation and also a way of socialising with people outside of my regular contacts.

Aside from art and art history in high school, I am self taught and am enjoying the challenges that using water colour brings.
