Bio

I’m a self-taught artist and have worked with different mediums including water colour, pastels, pencil and sculpture before settling on acrylic. I enjoy trying different techniques, finding new things that work (and some that don’t!). For me, my art is about expression through colour and vibrancy. My art is meant to promote joy and happiness; it’s hard to be sad when looking at a colourful piece. The artist in me has been sleeping for many years. After surviving a brain aneurysm, spiralling though grief at the loss of my grandmother (my favourite person), and divorce; all in 2021, I’ve finally woken up and found the passion I had been hiding all along. It is now time for me to re-engage with the world and share that passion with the community through my art. So with that said, here I am scared and brave and I hope you like it!"
